Introduction to ‘Skills for Living’
Introduction to ‘Skills for Living’
‘Skills for Living’ is Build Africa's pioneering approach to helping young people in rural East Africa. By giving regularly, you can support a rural community in East Africa. All your donations will give young people the education, skills and support they need to beat poverty. You will get regular updates from the area and hear in person from a young ‘ambassador’ from that area about how your support is changing lives.

Profile of an ambassador
Profile of an ambassador
An ambassador is a child or young person whose role is to let supporters know about Build Africa's work where they live. Ambassadors are aged between 8 and 25. Some are at primary or secondary school, others are learning a vocational skill or may be members of youth groups. One thing they share is that they directly benefit from the support given. They are ‘windows’ into the work that Skills for Living is doing in their communities.
